SATURDAY SHOW ♥ MIU MIU GOLDEN

I'm not the hugest 1940s fashion fan. I don't hate it. It's just not my thing unless it's 1970s-doing-1940s fashion. So although I liked some of the pieces from the Miu Miu Fall 2011 show, it wasn't like totally my thing. BUT, having said that, there were a lot of little bits and pieces that I did love. Especially the shoes. That I really want to own. Even though they did remind me a lot of one of my favorite Rochas collections a couple of seasons ago. Still, let's have a look. Oh, and I did enjoy watching the live stream.♡

THE shoe that i want the most...or one of the shoes that i want the most. also reminds me of Rochas. i would and will wear this every day if i can. :)
if you prefer silver. i prefer the gold. and no scrapes and bruises. ick.
this is a strange shoe. i don't know how to feel about it. i like it, but then i don't know how much. or if i love it.
in pink and gold. ?
great little 40s-esque pump. i have some from high school that look like this a lot. and they worked well with a lot of looks. it's a nice pump. for someone who wants something different.
mink. one of the thinks i love about miu miu is that she uses a lot of mink. well, i like the mink. maybe not that it's new. but it's a cool look. but def try to buy used/vintage so it doesn't count toward mink sales. if you can. that's what i do.
giant coin purses in the show were so fun! and the gorgeous detailing on the sleeves. love.
i'm not a fan of giant bags, but i think the giant coin purses were really cute.

non-40s make up at miu miu. gorgeous make up. though the chloe show had my favorite make up.
so pretty make up and gold sunglasses
a good updated version of  40s glamour.

FRIDAY FANCY ♥ VUITTON PART TWO

Hi again. Yes. Like I mentioned is previous post, there was just too much goodness in the Vuitton show to only cover it one shoe post. I mean, there was many good looks, I don't know if I'm even going to include the full looks in this or any post. So if you haven't seen the full collection,  please watch the Louis Vuitton Fall Winter 2011 collection video...you won't get the full effect if you look at still shots of the models. Nope. No way. I will, however, show a lot of the goods and details here and I didn't and couldn't really take in whilst watching it. Though, one other good thing about this show were all the surprise rockstar models...so I will add that to this post if it doesn't get too long.

HERE IS PART TWO!

The first thing I got was a flashback to 70s/80s/90s LV logo hysteria, especially knock-off hysteria of that past. LOVED those! The bag shapes looked like a ton of vintage LV. And then of course there were a million other details that I'll leave for the captions...onto the photos...I'll have to mention the stockings in the next LV post.

Wait...there are just way too many images and things to talk about. So I'll  be doing one more LV post.  I haven't had a chance to read or watch any interviews...so I don't know what Marc Jacobs is calling his inspiration for this collection...but to me it looks like Cuffed and Chained at the Masquerade. ? :) (PS Sorry if this is a bit of a ramble...I've just got a lot going on and I'm really tired.)♡

one hat on list. check!
that is one amazing look. that is one amazing hat.
a magnificent LV bag that looks totally vintage.
one little LV clutch that looks like my mother's 70s vintage. check!
i showed these in the previous post with the other shoes, but i had to show them again with the other logos.
more logo clutch heaven.
i just love this styling...look at the skirt of the dress with those shoes with that bag. not that you'd actually wear it. but it looks really good all together for a show or editorial.
cuffed!
cuffed again!
is this pic saucy or ? that bag is gorg'.
cuffed again....
ok...this looks is one of my entire favorites. just look at this pic with the hat and the masque and the jacket(?)...amazing.
and bag....insanity. the entire look including make up including the mix of color.
cute and cuffed in gold.
love this accessory. crazy masked hat. really a big mix of everything but tailored so well and styled to perfection. you can see some of the insane details in this photo that i'll be discussing in another post.
can't forget the teddy bear bag.
more cuffs...
a really good fun...bag?
gorgeous green and gold.

SHOE ME THURSDAY ♥ VUITTON VUITTON

Girls and Boys...massive probably two-part posts on the Louis Vuitton Fall 2011 show will be up soon as there was just way way way too too much to run through in one shoe post. Fer real. THIS is what fashion shows are and should be about...this was so amazing in so many ways. And the clothes were INSANE. The SHOES! So if you haven't watched the full show, please do and check back shortly for the post(s) because I just couldn't cover one thing about this show alone. It was way beyond. (I'll also have something up about Meow Meow (Miu), too, as it was also lovely. Thx again for reading and see you very soon!

SO...HERE IS PART ONE!

I loved this show. It was dramatic and funny and full of super model celebs and who could hate Kate Moss as a streetwalker at the end. Aside from the gorgeous set/tent and the wonderful lineup, it was the clothes and those SHOES that had me gagging in a good way. There was a lot more to cover, so I will in another post that will go up soonish. From the rubber platform Crayola colored Glam Rock boots to those amazing other boots to those other amazing pumps and Mary Janes...who could keep track??? It was a superb finally to an otherwise drama-filled Fashion Week. Here are some of the highlights...♡

amazing color for an amazing boot.

WEDNESDAY BAG ♥ STELLA BAGS (& DOTS!)

I suppose I lean more toward Team Phoebe than Team Stella. It's always been that way, even when Philo was the assistant or whatever. But lately, I do look at Stella McCartney's collections with more interest than ever before. I liked the spring collection with all the denim pieces. And for the Stella McCartney Fall 2011 collection, I thought it was interesting. I did love a couple of the bags/clutches and a couple of the shoes as well as some of the dots on the sheer pieces. But even with those, I thought, "...this collection is a little....weird." Like, it seemed so space age for McCartney. And even though I loved the gold and a lot of other things like color and fabrics...I didn't see a lot of the pieces as being wearable. But anyway, I do like the pretty choices she does give the vegan girls. And the bags and shoes were really really pretty.♡

vegan bag number 1...nice.

vegan bag number 2...i love love this round clutch. love it.

so pretty.

doesn't the black panel in front remind you of a vintage YSL dress?
