SPECIAL! ♥ VINTAGE MAKEUP WEEK! BIBA!

Here it is...the second (or third) video so far on vintage make up from gorgeous lady Lisa Eldridge.

The make up in this below video is just too gorgeous for me to even handle. (I also love the model choice for this and funnily enough she's from Premier which I just did a post on recently.) And Lisa Eldridge is using original Biba make up, which I did a post about when I started this blog because I am so so lucky to own some amazing pieces.

Now you can see one of the reasons I love love love Biba and Barbara Hulanicki so much. One thing that I thought was off....Lisa talks about her as though she's passed. But she is alive...very much so. In case you were wondering.

I am in a little heaven when I watch educational fashion-y bits that are done so well like these and give us what we really want. Like Biba. Anyway, without further ado, hope you enjoy these as much as I do.♡

THURSDAY SHOE ♥ SILVER CHOOS

OK....here they are...the Jimmy Choo's I picked up today for a steal that I mentioned in the post before this one. I have been wearing them around the house ever since I got home. I wore them in the kitchen to make a cup of tea. I wore them in the bathroom when I was brushing my teeth. With black leggings and a loose mens black T-shirt. LOVE them. Even though I'm not a diehard Jimmy Choo fan, I do love these Choos. The style is called "Lance" and they're available here. I'm calling them my Barbarella shoes. ;)♡

THURSDAY SHOE ♥ TILA MARCH

I have the most AMAZING new (to me) pair of Jimmy Choo's that I'll have to get up here. Unfortunately, it's a bit tricky trying to take a photo of your own feet from the side. They were A STEAL...and I think they're crazy amazing. I am not a Jimmy Choo girl, really. I love shoes, but I don't run to the store to see the new Jimmy Choos. BUT, having said that, of course if I see an amazingly shiny high sexy snake-y gladiator-ish stiletto that's a real deal with the Jimmy Choo label...I will pay attention, try on and, in this case, purchase. So now you have to see the shoes. So I'll have to figure out how to shoot them for you. Or find a pic online.

In the meantime, check out these really Frenchy girl what-I-call runaround heels by Tila March. Don't picture these with your favorite dress...Just picture your favorite baggy jeans or a runaround outfit where you don't want to wear sneakers. These are really sweet, very Nina Ricci and/or 80s-ish. And really affordable at less than 400. I bet you could even find something similar for less. But I'm sure these won't chop your feet up (which is why it's worth to spend a little more on a shoe you will run around in)...and Jimmy Choo pics coming soon.♡

I PROMISE YOU THESE WILL LOOK WAY MORE AMAZING ACTUALLY ON YOUR FEET. I WOULD PUT MONEY ON IT.

WEDNESDAY BAG ♥ RICE & BEANS VINTAGE

RICE AND BEANS? Yes. But it's Rice and Beans Vintage in the UK. I'm not sure how I ended up on their mailing list, but I LOVE getting their emails because it's like a gallery of amazingly curated vintage. Even for me, who really does own and knows quite a bit about vintage...from work...from mom...and from friends I had who were really skilled vintage dealers (and still are). Rice and Beans delivers. Most of the amazing pieces usually go really fast. I don't know if it's for everyone, but they carry everything I LOVE.

Last week, I think, I got one of their emails about new arrivals (which is so smart) and it's an "accessories edition"....! Perfect for my WEDNESDAY BAG post. Because they have some really cherry bags. Cherry as in perfect.
