Here are some shots I meant to feature last month...OH WELL. They're from Spanish brand Bershka's November Lookbook featuring model Claudia Devlin, whom I adore. She is so cute and there's something I love about those fairy girl models who look like they live in the woods. You can read more about Claudia here. MAKEUP MONDAY ♥ LIPPPPSSSSSSSSS

It's so amazing that these days, if it's super late and you're looking like a dag, that you can pop into your local Walgreen's or CVS (drugstores) and find some amazing product for pennies it seems. The other night, just before the next day's big meeting, I felt like I just needed another couple of lip colors...just in case. You know when you're just not feeling it and you need a few more selections. It took me no longer than like say...5 minutes....to discover some amazing lip bits that have incredible pigmentation and are totally comparable to any higher end department store brand (save the packaging).

I found two lip gloss sticks made by Jordana and I LOVE these. They're called EASYSHINE GLOSSY LIP COLOR and they are made in the USA (wooohoo! a super plus!). I picked up two colors: WATERMELON JUICE which is like a coral-y pinkish color that's sheer but still has color on my lips, which is really amazing because most tinted lip glosses don't show on my lips for some reason. The other color I bought is darker and called SUGAR PLUM...it reminds me a lot of Clinique's Black Honey stick which I wore forever when I was in my early 20s. These sticks feel great and look great and they are priced great at only $1.99!

The other discovery that I LOVE LOVE was a quick snatch...I grabbed it in a second, looked at it for a half second and fell in love. It's a Wet N' Wild color...from their SILK FINISH lipstick range that only cost 99 cents! And the color? It has the most amazing name...506B MINK BROWN! It reminds me of the dark browns of the 70s Calvin Klein Brooke Shields era...that rusty brown color. And that color is also featured in some of the new MAC product shots.

(not my shot...not my hand. but you can see the browny rust color of this awesome shade. LOVE. it's almost a brick red.)

I have some other things to post up here...but will wait and keep this to lippppppsssss. Have some work to do for a GIANT beauty company....! More soon. :)♡

SUNDAY MATINEE ♥ BUTTERFIELD 8 BIT

Just a tiny bit of a bigger post I'll be doing on Butterfield 8, in honor of the amazing auction that just happened where records were broken for sales of Elizabeth Taylor's jewels. This is the amazingly gorgeous opening scene...I have no idea why it's dubbed. But it doesn't take away from how hot the set and the girl are. I especially love the vanity table and mirror...and her little gold bag. Be sure to look for it. Sorry this is so short and so late. I had a huge and goooood meeting today. Fingers crossed. x ♡

SATURDAY SHOPPING ♥ MEN'S XMAS GIFT

ON THE FIFTH DAY OF XMAS MY TRUE LOVE GAVE TO ME...

I was trying to think what to write about today. And I thought something that might be good is to make a suggestion for a men's gift. Especially for the special man in your life or your dad or whatever. One of my favorite things I ever gave one of my boyfriends was a gorgeous Georg Jensen money clip. I learned about Georg Jensen when I was in college from a roommate that was fancy and Scandy. He was a big fan of the Jensen pieces, including cuff links (also a good idea...esp if they are vintage). Years later,  a girlfriend phoned me frantically saying she had no idea what to get her new boyfriend and I mentioned the money clip. She asked if I had time to run over to Tiffany's and check them out (because I lived near one). I did. And they had such a great selection that I picked a cool one up for her that cost something like 50 or 75 dollars...only! So here are some suggestions...because I think it's way way more chic for a man to carry his cash in a money clip in one pocket and keep his cards in a sleek/thin card holder in the other pocket. I don't think bulky wallets are sexy at all. :) The below clips are affordable...but you can spend a ton if you want. I think i bought one for a special boyfriend for $400 once. It's man jewelry after all. And PS...you can also hit up your local vintage shop or antique mall and find an old one, too.♡
