WED WONDER ♥ JEREMY SCOTT ON ACID

Like I always say, I am not a Jeremy Scott fan, for personal reasons. But sometimes I do like some of this pieces. I don't think he's a real designer. All the pieces tend to stay the same, pretty much, and then he changes up the prints. This collection for Fall 2012 was very rave to me. Which is like totally not my scene. But I did like a couple of the jumpers/sweaters.♡

i'm pretty sure this is a knock-off of a junior gaultier from the 80s dress.

same here. i remember that junior gaultier line had a lot of lovely colored stripes. i was kind of little, but my older cousin loved that brand and gaultier in general.

i like the jumper/sweater...but nothing else.

i think this is kind of predictable. but i like the sweater.

i like this emoticon dress/tunic sweater.

i love the sweater but everything else is weird. the thing is, jeremy scott didn't create emoticons...they're just placed on a sweater so how much cred does he get?

i kind of like the melting happy face on a fancy top..even though it's really rave and acid-ish. but everything else...eh.

TUES TAILOR ♥ CHANEL EXHIBIT IN VEGAS

Did you guys here about this? They renovated the Chanel boutique at the Bellagio and had a huge party for the new It-girls and then there was this Chanel exhibit unveiled at The Wynn. This exhibit looks so fun. I used to go to Las Vegas AT LEAST twice a year for the fashion trade shows (bleh). And one thing we used to do  as a tradition was buy something from the luxe boutiques. I remember running frantically from Hermès to Chanel to Gucci to Louis...I remember running in the Belagio because the shops were about to close. I'm sure the shop and the exhibit are awesome in person. Hopefully they're be there if I ever go back to Vegas again. Below is the Chanel Numéro Privés exhibit.

this is a Chanel arcade game where you can win cosmetics and jewelry!

TUE TAILOR ♥ MARC JACOBS FALL 2012/13

Early TUESDAY TAILOR POST!

We loved the live stream of the Marc Jacobs Fall 2012/2013 show...one of my big time creative directors went bonkers over it and he's totally not fazed by anything really. Here it is in case you missed it. THE other amazing thing they did was make some of the pieces from the show immediately available for pre-order on marcjacobs.com! (This song is from Oliver...which makes sense if you watch the show...to me it was very Cecil Beaton.)♡
