MAKEUP MONDAY ♥ RUFFIAN X MAC

I'm so so thrilled for Claude and Brian of New York label RUFFIAN and their collab with MAC. I think i covered their show with the amazing manicures. You can watch a video of the show backstage with the hot nails below! Looks like MAC decided they were amazing enough to offer them along with some cool lipsticks, including Ruffian Red. I'll also include some of the old old OLD articles I wrote about Ruffian when I was in New York. Claude and Brian are amazing people with the sweetest energy. And they really have guts because, no matter what, they really and truly stick to their vision.

SUN MATINEE ♥ FERRAGAMO AT THE LOUVRE

By now I'm sure a lot of you, maybe, have heard that for the first time in its 90-year history, the Louvre had a fashion show. And the line shown was equally vested in history and time, Salvatore Ferragamo and the Resort 2013 collection. Now I heard really good things and all I've read is amazing things about the new captain on board, Massimiliano Giornetti (Ferragamo's creative director since 2010). And I have read really lovely reviews of this show. But I haven't seen any photos or watched this. So hopefully it'll be good and you all will be happy I posted up on Nancy Girl.♡

SAT SHOW ♥ LOUIS VUITTON RESORT 2013

I read that the Louis Vuitton Resort 2013 collection was inspired by Catherine Deneuve from a couple of her films from the 60s and 70s. I kiiiiind of see that. This collection is a bit strange and very very Marc Jacobs. I love the visors. I love some of the shoes and I love some of the culottes. I love culottes and I wear culottes with some shoes that look a little like the Vuitton ones, but not as high (at all!). I love the background and that they had a mini fashion show for the collection. Some of it was crazy. But I still loved it. I can't help it. I love fashion.

SAT SHOW ♥ PETER JENSEN RESORT 2013

I am really enjoying some of the Resort 2013 collections. I don't know why I'm not annoyed at this season like I normally am. I hope you all are enjoying them, too. This is a post on Peter Jensen's 2013 Resort collection. You know how much I heart Peter Jensen. I really love all of his lookbooks. They rarely look the same and he has a lot of fun with young womens fashion. This one looks very 50s/60s old Barbie/teeny-bopper/Sandra Dee/Alfred Hitchcock. Something like that. :)♡

i love and collect vintage pieces that look very similar to this. i love them.
