MAKEUP MON ♥ PETRA'S SHADOW REVIEW

I was all prepared to start a review on a new favorite Japanese skincare product I've been testing out, and then I saw Petra Kozina, a makeup artist I follow and love on YouTube (I wrote about her here), had a brand new video up...a review of her favorite eyeshadows. If you don't care about the shadows, just listen to her voice....it's amazing. She is on the rise to becoming one of the premiere YouTube beauty gurus quickly because she's the real deal...she does looks that we all wish we could do. And, a lot of us wish we could sound as kitten as she does when she speaks. :)♡

SUNDAY MATINEE ♥ WENDY O WILLIAMS

Have I posted this before? It's an interview with one of the best female rockers, Wendy O Williams...she has the most amazing body and energy. Her band was called The Plasmatics. This is hilarious because it's from the 80s on a talk show with Sally Jesse Raphael, who was pretty big back then. Not sure if this ever went up, but if you read my blog then you know I have a novel (ARCADIA) out that's Heavy Metal. So of course I love Wendy O Williams (esp her duet with Lemmy from Motorhead!). Sadly, she took her own life. I think she was too sensitive to everything, to aware of everything, and I think she was too intelligent to handle life and aging. Anyway, if I already posted this in the past, then forgive me. But I feel I need to post it again. Just because...because Wendy was the ultimate badass.♡

SATURDAY SHOW ♥ COME EDIE VOGUE KOREA ♥

I had never seen this Edie Sedgewick/Andy Warhol/Factory shoot before. It's from Vogue Korea 2008 and features models Kim Min-hee and Lee Soo-hyuk (who apparently were a couple?). This shoot is amazing. I can't imagine all the work that went into it. All the work that went into the makeup and props and painting the silver factory. It is genius. Then it got me to browsing through other Vogue Korea fashion shoots and they were equally amazing. All the credits are below. You can see some documentary footage if you're unfamiliar with the Warhol Silver Factory here. I have been obsessed by Warhol since I was a teen. Maybe this shoot will explain why...

♥♥♥DOUBLE POSTS TOMO!!!!♥♥♥♥

SO SORRY, LOVELIES. WAS TERRIBLE SLEEPY FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS...OH AND I HAD TO DESIGN A FULL WEBSITE LIKE OVERNIGHT. SO MY EYES WERE SO STRAINED AND HURTING FROM GLARING AT THE COMPUTER FOR ALL THOSE HOURS STRAIGHT...ANYONE KNOW OF ANY GLASSES YOU CAN WEAR TO PROTECT YOUR EYES FROM THE GLARE? 

I WAS ALSO REALLY BUMMED OUT ABOUT THE WHOLE THEATER SHOOTING. I MEAN, THERE ARE SO MANY VIOLENT CRIMES AND SO MANY PSYCHOS HAVE ACCESS TO GUNS AND THESE IDIOTS IN THE NRA WHO SAY THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO PURCHASE GUNS....WHAT IDIOTS. WE ARE NOT LIVING IN THE CIVIL WAR DAYS! YOU ALL KNOW, IF YOU READ MY BLOG, HOW MUCH I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE FILMS! I DON'T KNOW HOW ANYONE CAN GO TO A THEATER AND FEEL RELAXED AND SINK INTO THE FILM NOW...THERE ARE TOO MANY WEIRDOS AND COPY CATS AND GUNS OUT THERE. I DUNNO. IT REALLY UPSET ME. I GUESS I FEEL LIKE THAT SPECIAL THING I LOVED TO DO, GO TO FILMS, HAS BEEN AFFECTED IN A MAJOR WAY. I FEEL SO UPSET FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO WENT TO HAVE A GREAT TIME AND THEY HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS ABOUT TO HAPPEN. IT'S TERRIBLY SICKENING. 

SO SORRY FOR HEAVY TALK, BUT THESE ARE THE REASONS WHY I JUST DIDN'T FEEL LIKE BLOGGING FOR A DAY. BUT I WILL RESUME TOMO.
