WHAT A SHOW! AGAIN! I love the Thom Browne fashion shows! I love his vision! I love his fun! I love his weirdness! It's like taking a sneak peek at what people will be dressing like in the year 2525! I mean, think about it. Fashion has been a lot of places. It HAS TO either get really REALLY REALLY weird or get REALLY REALLY REALLY minimal (which is also space age). Really interesting to think about. Clearly Thom Browne can see it in his Spring Summer 2013 collection. Just amazing. I wish he also did films because he'd kill it! I'll try to get the video of the show on here. I also want to say that there are at least two pieces I'd wear here on a regular basis. :) ♡
i love this little jacket. i would wear that jacket in a heartbeat.

I have said it time and time again, I love Alexandre Herchcovitch and I think he's an excellent designer. I had already seen (and prob posted something on here) this collection when it showed during Sao Paolo Fashion Week (he's from Brazil). But I love the girls in this show because they're toned down in makeup and hair. He always has the best hair and makeup and shoes in his shows. He also used the same tracks, which makes sense because they probably paid Boy George a huge amount to use all those tracks. I loved the Boy George (little bit of a Buffalo Gal) style girls at the end. I mean, when you look at these pieces, they're very wearable by a lot of people and body shapes. A lot of these pieces would be good on a lady who is a creative director or a fashion editor. I also have a great video of the show. But this is what I meant when I was talking about Alexander Wang's show...the level of skill and sophistication in design doesn't match up to some of the the designers out there...like Alexandre Herchcovitch.♡
i love this entire outfit from the hair to the shoes. i could see myself going to work in this and looking like a stylish million bucks.
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
i love this model in this outfit. she looked really cute when she came out onto the runway.
i love this dress. i am not a bright all-over print lady. but i love this dress so much. again, would be amazing for a creative head at an agency.
a yellow coat (dress?) with pink shoes on gorgeous caramel skin and no makeup. can't beat that.
another perfectly styled look on a perfectly styled model
i love this sooo much. she looks super amazing. so cute!
perfectly balanced and very early early 80s Boy George
I normally NEVER cover anything Alexander Wang. I couldn't really ever get into it. I guess if I was younger maybe. Or else, I always felt like I'd seen these things when Helmet Lang did them or especially Daryl K, who I've been a HUGE fan of since I was still a teenager. And I guess I'd need to be like 5-foot-10-inches tall with my same weight because then I'd be a pole and all of his designs would work perfectly. But can you see these looks on a petite curvy girl? Even a very thin one? I can't. And, in all honesty...and this is going to sound bad sort of...the girls I have overheard telling someone that a piece of clothing they are being complimented on is Alexander Wang, well those aren't really the girls I'm interested in. I dunno. Maybe it's just my luck.
BUT...I have to say, the Spring Summer 2013 show was pretty nice. And the collection is really nice (even though I still can't see myself in this stuff...this isn't for girls with any kind of chesty-ness). I don't know about the boots really. And someone made a comment under this video asking "why the shorts make the models look like they stuffed their underwear?"....
BUT the collections is still nice. The show is nicely done. I decided not to show the stills because it's much better to just watch the actual show. And, I lied. I did really like that Alexander Wang bag that looked like a doctor's bag with studs on the bottom. But everyone on the planet had it or its knock off, so I never got it. Enough rambling from me! Just watch the show below.♡
