MAKEUP MONDAY ♥ A HOT PARTY MAKEUP LOOK ♥

I was thinking I have been posting too much about Charlotte Tilbury recently...but then she keeps showing us the most amazing makeup looks. And then I thought...it's the holidays season and who cares. I've already covered the favorite makeup things that I'd love to get. This look she created is for a purple smoky eye for a party or something and it's gorgeous. But it looks a lot like the Estee Lauder campaign that came out recently and maybe she had done the makeup for that, too. I'm super excited about this look because it has Tom Ford shadows in purple-y colors...something I have never really used and don't really own...but are supposed to be ideal esp if you have green eyes (which I have). So have a look and if I come up with some other makeup things that I'd love for gifts, I'll post those later on. Happy shopping (if you're out shopping, that is).

OH...I remembered a great idea! It's from last year! See the link below where it says MORE MAKEUP MONDAY!♡

♥ HAPPY NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS FROM MARC JACOBS ♥

I know a few people who have worked for these dudes in the past or have worked for them for a long time and are working for them now...I've sat in on meetings and heard about the parties in New York and the dinner parties in Paris. And everyone I know loves loves loves working for them. It's also nice that they've been a team since the weee beginnings.♡

SUN MATINEE ♥ DISCO DOCUMENTARY...THE ORIGINS OF SO MUCH ♥

I thought I already posted this documentary on Disco. It's called The Joy of Disco and it is awesome. If you love fashion and music and you want to get some history of New York, gay rights, Studio 54, where a lot of the dance music comes from today, then this is a great documentary to watch. I always say this, but if you want to be a writer, journalist, fashion person, consultant, you should know A LOT about A LOT of things. You should know where the origins of style come from, the origins of music come from, the origins of pop culture come from. Otherwise, you don't know sh**. It's very good. I promise. (Everything the BBC does in docs is good pretty much.)♡

SATURDAY SHOPPING ♥ BING BANG SKULL JEWELRY FOR GIFTS! ♥

I intended on posting a gift guide featuring both skulls and black diamonds by my lovely friend (and total badass) and amazing jewelry designer Anna Sheffield...but there were so many pieces that I'm breaking this up into two parts...part one below is all about the skull jewelry available for affordable prices in her more costume jewelry range called BING BANG. I've featured mostly yellow gold pieces, because that's my preference. But a lot of the pieces come in silver and other shades of gold, too. You can see these and other pieces on the site right now!

Part two will feature her signature fine jewelry range and a lot of black diamonds (!), a huge part of her designs. If you aren't familiar with Anna yet, she's the girl who started doing those dope two-finger rings (which she gifted to me years ago in NYC). You can see the post I did on them so long ago here.

I'll be featuring an interview with her in the new year (tease!)...but for this post I asked her to finish the line ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS OR HANUKKAH IS...and here is what she said:

"All I want for Xmas is a weekend in front of a fire with a hot toddy, or a home-made egg nog, in my hand and warm blanket over my lap."

Hey, Anna...ME, TOO!!! :)♡
