♥ WEDNESDAY WONDER ♥ $6000 LOUBOUTIN DAFFODILE PUMPS ♥

It's been a little while since I showcased some fun shoes. Even though I am not sure I would actually wear any Louboutin Daffodiles (that's a lie, I totally would wear some Louboutin Daffodiles), I had to post these ultra mega super amazing Glam Rock specials! They're the Daffodile 160 crystal-embellished leather pumps and they cost $6,395! They're covered with candy-colored crystals and actually they do look very candy-esque when you think about it. They look crazy Glam Rock. They'd look amazing with some bell-bottoms (I have some from the very last Chloé collection that Phoebe Philo designed). If i landed these, I would love them to death. But for $6000, I could buy a lot of other things. I wonder how many of these they actually produce...

♥ AMAZING FACE ♥ KAREN ELSON, HER MAKEUP AND LULA MAGAZINE ♥

I had forgotten that I owned this issue of Lula...it's issue nine. I can't find the date or year anywhere for it. But it must be a couple of years old. I know all of the stories, but I forgot I actually owned the issue in which they all appear. This is an amazing issue if you can get your hands on it. Especially the cover featuring covergirl Karen Elson. I have a liking for this model. I don't know if I would like her as much if I hadn't met her once at a Dazed and Confused (magazine) party (when I was still writing for them). It was in New York and she looked so simple...like a hippy girl you'd see at a Grateful Dead show (when The Dead actually played and Jerry was still alive). The thing is, she was so so nice. Super cool girl. I love all about this shoot, especially her makeup. It's just too too amazing for words. I have tried to capture some of it close up for you below...I actually do have some makeup reviews and skincare reviews to post. But I've had terrible insomnia and so I am now typing like a robot girl before I pass out. I shall post them up later, though. Promise. x♥

♥ SUNDAY MATINEE ♥ FANTASY ISLAND 70'S AND 80'S GLAMOUR GIRLS ♥

Okay...I can't embed the video because the channel it's on has disabled that feature...but I still really want to feature it, so CLICK HERE to watch the most amazing display of 70's and 80's glamour! Also features Dorothy Stratten (the "Star 80" girl who blew up and then was killed by her husband). There is really good makeup (a lot of it has returned this year...very similar looks and colors...esp with lines like Tom Ford) and lots of curling irons and hair spray. I LOVE IT! I've taken some screen shots below to entice you. Oh, and by the way...this is from an iconic show that ran for years and years and years called FANTASY ISLAND..."The plane! The plane!" ;)♥

Hi Mandana Lovers!

I hope you are well...New York is raining again...Anyway, I am delighted to let you know that I'm so lucky to have my pop-up store at one of biggest department stores in Osaka Japan! It's called Umeda Hankyu. MAY 15TH-MAY 21ST!

I have been preparing for this project for almost a year, and I am/the project is roughly 80% complete. I will (still) be running around in Osaka all next week. Please stop by if you will be in Osaka! You will see very exciting goods and art works!
