♥ VOGUE RUSSIA GORGEOUS BEAUTY TUTORIAL WITH L'OREAL ♥

Russian Vogue does the most lovely videos on their YouTube channel. Much better than most magazine channels and every look is absolutely top-notch high end looking. This one was surprising to me because unlike the others where very posh brands like Dior and such were used, this one uses makeup by L'Oreal to create the entire look. And the result is an absolutely gorgeous face that you'd never ever suspect had entirely drugstore makeup painting it. Don't believe me? Have a look below...

Also, it's all written in Russian except for the product names, which really helps.

I have some fantastic reviews coming up with new products, mainly skincare and some beauty...stay tuned for that! ♥

♥ SUNDAY MATINEE ♥ NEW FAVORITE YOUTUBERS ♥ ALL DOLLED UP ♥

I just had to share this channel. I think another YouTuber I watch spread the love and suggested we go check out ALL DOLLED UP's channel and wow...I love her! I have a load of new loves that I will share with you. I can see that I am still the same little tween I was...I still love and look for those same girls that I looked up to when I was like 11. And this girl (named Sarah, methinks) from All Dolled Up is amazing. She has great style. She's for real. She's really inspirational. And she loves the 1960's...just like me...duh. :) I usually post the videos above the text on Sundays. But I wanted to explain some stuff before you watched the vids. Below is the first video I saw where she is wearing the Bart Simpson outfit, which might be JCDC if my memory serves me right. Or a knock off. :) And then there's a tour of her closet. So fun. She's so cute and she has a different look in almost every single channel. She sounds really smart. AND she has an amazing Motorhead biker jacket. (So that means I am probably going to make my publisher send her my Heavy Metal novel!)...

Happy Sunday!xx

♥ A CHANCE TO SEE PIG DEATH MACHINE ON BOTH COASTS + ONLINE! ♥

PIG DEATH MACHINE DREAM SEQUENCE STILL....omg...how amazing is this film still!!!

I just got an email from Amy Davis and Jon Moritsugu about one of them films (that I've featured on here) opening on both coasts...

If you're in San Francisco (where I actually met Amy and Jon, even though I had already loved Amy's work for a long time from Paper magazine), you can catch it for a week at THE ROXIE...

If you're in Brooklyn (YO), you also will be able to check it out for a week at THE SPECTACLE in Williamsburg (duh)...

BOTH RUNS ARE FROM JUNE 1–JUNE 6!!!

And...if you can't make it to either showing (like me because I am not in either place....boohoo for me and you)...there's another way to watch it!

The much-anticipated indie sci-fi flick Pig Death Machine will make its digital debut on Fandor, the streaming source for indie films, on June 1, followed by a theatrical release in New York and San Francisco. YEA!

The film, directed by Jon Moritsugu and Amy Davis, winners of the Lifetime Achievement award at the 20th annual Chicago Underground Film Festival, and starring Amy Davis, Hanna Levbarg, Victor of Aquitaine, Tucker Bennett and Cherrie Jubilee, is the first Moritsugu has directed in over a decade and reflects his popular lo-fi, punk genre.

WHAT THAT MEANS TO US IS THAT WE CAN WATCH THE FILM HERE STARTING JUNE 1, 2013!! JUST CLICK ON THIS LINK! (Damn, that's today, people! I didn't get any herb and popcorn yet!!!)  http://www.fandor.com/films/recent
(You will need to sign up/subscribe to watch it...but you can sign up for a free 2-week trial...)

How cool is that? I think it's pretty fun and amazing. Congrats to Amy and Jon...I just hope this will now open in LA and Tokyo...soon soon soon!

Happy watching and do let me know how you like it!!!
PS...I'm going to double check, but I think you might only be able to stream it from the 1st-6th. I'll double check, though.

♥ A FASHION STORY FROM THE DEBUT ISSUE OF 'SO IT GOES' ♥

I had to post this fashion story up because it's really pretty and cute. It's a little less polished than something you'd see in something like...Lula. But I think that's what makes it good.  It's a "bi-annual culture glossy" which is a new term maybe, called SO IT GOES. I guess the model is a British actress named Felicity Jones (have no idea who she is, but she's cute).  Styling is by Sissy Sainte-Marie, Hair is by Alex Polillo  and I think makeup is Sabrina Bedrani. The story was shot by Eliot Lee Hazel (best name ever). ♥

i love this look and this dress. when i was little little, all the shirts and dresses had those little winged ruffles on them. i still love them.
