Just wanted to post this even if it's been on here before (has it? I think not)...It's a great lazy Sunday song especially if you're at home with your beloved hot boyfriend (or girlfriend) and you want to chill out over tea in your lazy clothes, play good old tunes and share stories. That's what love is anyway, right?

Damn, Miuccia is totally on her game...especially with the campaign videos. That's a category pretty much every brand falls short on. They haven't figured it out. They haven't hired the right people. They just don't....get it. But Prada does...the designer AND the label. And, of course, just look at the clothes and the makeup. :)

♥ CHRISTIAN LACROIX FOR SCHIAPARELLI FALL 2013 COUTURE! ♥

Yea! I was so excited to see that the master, Christian Lacroix, was back in action and doing something new to showcase his crazy talents (I hate the big business people who don't use him because they think he doesn't appeal to the younger crowd...not everyone who has money is young!)...I guess he was asked to "honor" Elsa Schiaparelli with an 18-piece collection that paid homage to the other master. I read that Lacroix is doing theater work and this is just a one-off. Which makes me sad as I would love to see his work back in action and back on during Paris Fashion Week. :( But I'll settle for this. I'm so happy I own a couple of things by him when his fashion house was a live. One being a gift from a friend...a really amazing pair of metallic cherry pumps with gold heels.

♥ HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY! ♥ SUMMER WITH MONIKA FILM WITH SUBTITLES ♥

It's a holiday if you're in the States...everyone is off and playing. I'm off to a BBQ and then to watch the fireworks once it gets dark...BUT....before I take off, I am going to relax and watch the full New Wave film from Sweden (I think) called SUMMER WITH MONIKA (1953)...you might remember I featured a special mashup someone on YouTube did with clips of this song to some 80's New Wave. But those clips made me want to watch this so badly. It's a film by Ingmar Bergman...a gorgeous amazing director.

It's just too gorgeous for words. And apparently this film made the actress who plays Monika (Harriet Andersson) a huge star...and It-Girl. Just watch the film for its artistry. Bergman was a film-making genius. And Happy Fourth! ♥
