If there was a cool-looking chain-mail (or maille) bag from the late 60s (1969, to be exact) that was carried by the most iconic IT-Girls ever (like Brigitte Bardot and Françoise Hardy) and made by a really posh Parisienne fashion house (and Spanish designer), that would be rad, right? But now what if Comme des Garçons had decided to re-issuing it for a limited time? How hot would that be? Well, it is a reality. The chain-mail metal Paco Rabanne "le69" bag is available again through Comme des Garçons! I LOVE this bag and I LOVE the name of the bag!

There will be slight variations from the original...I guess Rei Kawakubo wants to be her own twist on them and you can only get them at SELECT CDG boutiques globally. They're priced between $1400 and $2200 (USD). This bag is insane. If you can't be one of the luckies and get THE le69 bag, then perhaps you can find a faux vintage one. This bag was knocked-off like crazy back in the day. That's why you see so many chain-mail vintage pieces from the 60s and 70s. So don't fret. You'll be able to snag something similar even if it's not the cool one from Paco Rabanne!♡
