What a perfect marriage between Nina Ricci and designer Peter Copping, like Alber Elbaz and Lanvin, Nicolas Ghesquiere and Balenciaga, MJ and LV. The new spring 2011 collection so Nina Ricci. (You can also see the SS11 pre-collection here .) It's all so gorgeous. It's all so balanced.  So sexy. So French. I especially love the pink backdrop, too. Perfection. If I could afford it, I'd love to dress like this for work every day. (I did own a gorgeous bouclé black suit dress from the early 50s that was tiny! But an awful stylist stole it from me! Lesson of the day: do not loan your most favorite non-replaceable pieces to shady stylists.) ♡

it's visual overload in a good way. it's one of my favorite silhouettes of all time. sigh.
i think the thing that sends this lovely lovely but simple dress over to amazing is the subtle color pattern. it just takes it somewhere else.
ok...maybe i need help here. i can't figure out if this is a "jacket" or a dress. but, either way, i would kill for it.
just gorgeous...especially the jacket.
one of my favorite pieces of the collection. just look at the color and...
the texture and color along with the dots. i love blush. it's one of my favorite colors along with bisque.
such a lovely sorbet combo. and the chubby texture of the jacket. and the shoes....and...and...
of course the wix gets the best outfit! amazing amazing amazing. it must be sensory overload in real life.
this makes me weep it's so amazing.
gorgeous. simple but gorgeous. i don't think the camera can capture what it's like for reals.
the accessories designer Alexandre Bouquel is a genius and fun as hell. see the video below. he loves the flowers on the shoes.
awesome driving gloves.
really lovely
a chic nina ricci knuckle ring...even pretty girls like knuckle rings. and look at the back of that mini!
such a usable bag. and look at the gorgeous blush color. this is a great bag.
loving it. love love love it.
another pink doable bag. :)
