NYFW ♥ NARS LEAD ARTIST AT MARC JACOBS SS 2013 SHOW ♥

I noticed that there were a few different lead artists at the shows in New York with makeup by Nars. But it's no surprise that François Nars himself was the lead at Marc Jacobs. I loved the hair and I thought the makeup looked very 60s but also very modern/future. I just wish the girls didn't look like skinny 12 year olds! :) See more here.

Yes, your remark about twelve year-olds is right on the mark. It bothers me too. But otherwise some great looks: I like how the eyebrows are back in focus. It gives a very intense look. All in all the Marc Jacobs show was awsome - I felt very inspired by the layering of dresses on top of trousers.

yes. i understand that's the look they wanted for the girls...but it's very weird to me when i look at the models from the past, esp the super models, and how those look like actual women, and now we see girls that look like kids in makeup and women are supposed to mimic that. i dunno. maybe i'm being old fashioned, but i think these girls were tooooo skinny. the screen makes them look 10 pounds heavier. so imagine how skinny they are in real life (that's why we never were jealous of models...they look like kids....when we worked with them at the magazine shoots).
thanks for reading as always!!! xxx

oh and yes...the brows are nice. thicker brows make everyone look better. though, i do like a non-brow, too. :) xxx
